Pale amber colour, with a big persistent and creamy head. Fruity aroma (plum and apricot). The flavour is well balanced, quite fruity (pineapple, apple and plum), with a light hoppy finish. Refreshing.

Golden colour with a white head. Slightly fizzy which doesn’t really adhere me to ales. Crisp enough ale for a summers evening.

Golden colour with a white head. Slightly fruity aromas of damson plums. The taste is balanced between fruity malts and bitter hops. The bitterness is quite sharp, making this a refreshing pint. This was sampled from a can on South West Trains and was rather over-carbonated and tasted slightly metallic. It might taste better when sampled from the cask.

Fizzy. Very mild aroma. Quite hard to get through. Sharp and bitter but not harsh on the throat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in the Barn with John and Liz. Slight honey twang to this pale ale. Liked the hopping. Went down a treat unlike my balls!

golden, clear, minimal head, a strong oaky taste which wasn’t to my taste and because of this most of it went in the sun flowers !medium bitterness, full body, thick feel, soft carbonation,

Malty aroma. Amber pour. Not a bad ale at all. Has a matured oak flavour as well which is nice.

Tanglefoot, my first introduction to beer! My dad worked at hall and woodhouse brewery and would get 12 cans a week free. At the age of 5 I soon realised every Sunday morning there would be a mouthful of the golden juice left in at least one of the cans from the previous night. I’ve had good times and bad times with tanglefoot but that unimportant. The beer is a lot lighter than badger brewery’s usual stuff and has a fantastic unique taste. I worked many years at the great dorset steam fair and out of the 100+ beers we would have on tap! tanglefoot was the beer that sold out in minutes. Bit of caution to be taken while drinking is that it creeps up on you!
