On tap at kings head pub winnipeg. Light orange body with foamy head and some lacing. Nice sweet malt and bubblegum aroma. Giant sweet grainy taste with a touch of tarty citrus zest. Okay.

Didn’t realise I’d never entered the cask version of this, only the bottle. Very malty with little hop evident, nutty, quite sweet, hint of caramel. Decent pint.

Kopparfärgad öl med vitt, ganska krämigt skum. Malt, havrekakor, blommighet och lite smörkola i doften. Bra maltighet i smaken. Lätta rostade toner, karamell, torkad frukt och en nötig beska.

Cask in the Prince Edward W2. Deep coppery brown in colour, thin foam. Very malty and fruity, viney bitter, slightly sulphury, with a bitter finish. Quite full flavoured. Pretty good,

Also on tap at The New Inn A bit bigger still a lot of malts and hardly any hops for a bitter. Brown and caramel flavors.

Beese (1463) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2013
Cask at The Peacock Farm in Wokingham, Berks on 26 August. Poured a copper colour with a light haze and a thin, dishwater like head. Aroma of toffee, malt and a slight sulphurous whiff. Flavours were grassy hop, raisons and lemon rind. Sugary palate with some grain and a weird plasticy note. Pretty naff condition, considering that this was in a Hall & Woodhouse pub.

Light caramel and honey tones on the nose; mouth is caramel, slight almond tones and hints of creamy malt. A very traditional, somewhat boring English Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
