UPDATED: APR 25, 2009 Tap at Qbrick, March 19, 2009. Looks and tastes like a zwicklbier to me. Cloudy orange color. Very bitter hops, with a yeasty richness. Long, bitter finish. Some citrus and other fruits. OK aroma hops as well. Excellent. I could drink a gallon. (This is called an Enlgish ale on the website! It is definitely not the same beer as in yester-years! It also is completely different from the bottle.)

Caramel and phenol, diacital and maybe some hop herbalness. Butterscotch and bubble gum rule the day with popcorn butter closing it off. Gets a bit better in the finishes with a decent English hop bitterness that sticks round for a while. Could be good but too much diacital.

Gold with a touch of red and little head. Aroma was caramel, bubblegum, and sweet orange. Flavor was sweet, subtle hops, caramel and muted orange. Medium body. Meh, wasn’t bad, wasn’t great.

Light amber color. Thin head. Butter popcorn and caramel dominate nose. Over powering with the dyctyle through out with a big caramel finish. Pass, this is not my type of beer.
