2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Maria (8572) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2007
Nice but quickly disappearing head. Aroma is malty ans the taste that also is rather seet. Unfortunately there is a sourness that doesn’t suit the taste. Moderate bitter finish. I re-sampled it a month later (april 05) with the same result.
Re-sampled july 05, there has been some changes in the brewing method. Now there is more complexity, and I sense more caramel and a bit of licorice. An improvement.
