Bragesnak (974), Aarhus, Denmark May 3, 2008 From Chas E., Aarhus, DK.
Bottled.
Sandy palate and tangy aroma and flavor of infection. Somewhere some malt
Maria (3816), Thisted, Denmark Mar 11, 2007 Nice but quickly disappearing head. Aroma is malty ans the taste that also is rather seet. Unfortunately there is a sourness that doesn’t suit the taste. Moderate bitter finish. I re-sampled it a month later (april 05) with the same result.
Re-sampled july 05, there has been some changes in the brewing method. Now there is more complexity, and I sense more caramel and a bit of licorice. An improvement. faroeviking (3955), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark Dec 8, 2006 Bottle. Dark amber colour with a small short lasting head. Aroma of roasted malts and some wood thing too. The flavour is quite roasted (burned wood) with some fruitiness and with a bitter-sourish finish. Bit flat taste. rauchbier (2860), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Oct 17, 2006 DBF 2005. Red bronze, thin off white and moderate condition. Gentle sweet caramel aromas, low sweet maltiness in the mouth with a touch of hop flavour that becomes hop bitter in the finish.
yngwie (3342), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 27, 2006 Bottled. Clear, dark brown, with a quickly diminishing beige head. Sweet start, then some roasted aromas comes through. Some dried fruits as well. Flavor is quite sweet as well, with some prunes and a bonfire-like element. Medium to thin body, and a long and quite sour-sweet finish. (060604)
