Bottle at RBNAG- 2009. Dark amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, cacao, malt. Flavour is sweet, mature apple, malt, alcohol, chocolate, cacao, hop. Medium body. Boring beer.

Bottle. An unclear, dark brown beer gushing out of the bottle, and forming a small, beige head. Acetaldehyde, roasted malts, higher alcohols, chocolate, cocoa and yeast on the nose. The flavor has cocoa and some alcohol, yeast and a sourish touch. Medium body, smooth on the palate. Cocoa and sourness in the finish. Slightly off, still sort of decent. 090611

Bottle. Black colour with huge creamy light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma is roasted malt. Sweet flavor With notes of chocolate. Ceamy palate.

Backlogging: Black-brown with almost no head. Sweet coffee notes in the aroma - but also a sour note, perhaps hinting infection. Favour of wood, sour berries, cocoa, and basement.

500 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Dark brown, almost black with a small, dense, beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate, cocoa and overripe apples. Flavor is sweet malt, slightly roasted chocolate, vanilla, hops and fruit. A bit thin body and inharmonic, lots of flavors but totally out of balance for my likings.

Bottle, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. ABV was 7.2%. Dark brown colour, nearly black, low head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and fermenting apples, stale biscuits and vanilla. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has notes of chocolate malts, some vanilla, fruity finish.

EBF08. Dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is roasted barley, dark fruit, raisin and some chocolate. Flavour is sweet dark malt, liquorish, darkfruit and blackberry.

Light liquorice aroma. Huge, frothy, off-white head. Excellent lacing. Mostly lasting longevity.. Clear, brown body. Moderate sweet liquorice flavor. Medium palate.

Bottled. Very deep amber colour, huge flufyf beigeish brown head, very longlasting and also giving nice lace. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, dark dry fruits, nuts and some very slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is roasted malts, dark dry fryuts, very dry wooden notes as well as mild spicing. Very borderline stout/porter, but I can see why the beerstyle chosen was chosen. Interesting and still available in several shops in "Jylland" atleast.
