Bottled. Metallic and plastic aroma that I would have rated very low at first but when the beer warmed up it became more whiskey malt-like. Amber color, off-white head, very nice lace. Light sweet, reasonable bitter, whiskey malts, hints of plastic and metal. Not aggresive but strange flavors.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. ARoma is whisky malts, some alcohol, nectar and sugar. Flavour is fruity, some mildly peaty notes as well as a bunch of bready notes.

(Bottle 70 cl) Pours amber golden with a slight haze and a rough, white head. Sweetish, lightly caramelish nose with a discreet note of smoke. Medium body with a distinct caramel sweetness. The whisky flavours are way too sudued - this brew could easily have taken some more to be more potent in its flavours. 240206

On tap @ EBF. Golden with a big off white head. Aroma is malt and a bit fruity. Flavor is quite plain malty, abit sweet and a hint of alcohol. Not very outastandig and not any traces of whisky, rather short afterteste.

Cloudy with large white head. Sweet aroma with yeasty and fruity notes. Flavor has notes of turf, caramel, smoke, yeast and grain.

12-JUN-2009. Bottle at Ulkløbben. Like a geyser! On opening the bottle it shoots out like a geyser all over the table, leaving just a few centimeters in the bottle. A whiskey aroma fills the room. Well I have a small pour, and its dull golden with white head. Whiskey and vanilla aroma and taste, and then beer!. Not well integrated.

Sampled at Beerfestival 2006, Horsens. Pours an unclear amber beer with a white head. The aroma is fruits with notes of malts and slight wood. The flavor is malt, caramel, but for my palate it lacks the whiskey. Palate is sweet (caramel) and overall it is a good beer, but lacks the whiskey.

Hazy orange, thin white head. Malty, somewhat smoky aroma with some hoppiness. Clear smoky whisky notes. Malty flavour. Somewhat fruity. Medium bitterness.

Bottle. Hazy amber coloured with a white head. Fruity aroma with notes of malts, wood and whisky. Light acidic flavour of malts, caramel and whisky. One of the best beers from baggårdsbryggeriet.
