COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: This brew was brewed on a brewers-session on Baggårdsbryggeriet. The guest brewers were Peter Klemensen and Høgni Jensen from Thisted Bryghus, Tim Sølyst from Herning Bryghus and Jens Eiken from Husbryggeriet Jacobsen. Ingredients: Water, barley, wheat, oat, blue berries, brown sugar, 3 different kinds of hops and yeast. Has been added Co2. With Eksperimentet Gæstebryg nr. 1 we try to make a beer with a Nordic touch. The huge amount of oats and blue berries gives the beer a full body and aroma, that makes you think of the late Scandinavian spring. <br /><br /> Dansk: Dette bryg er blevet til på en brygger-session på Baggårdsbryggeriet, hvor bl.a. Peter Klemensen og Høgni Jensen, Thisted Bryghus, Tim Sølyst fra Herning Bryghus og Jens Eiken fra Husbryggeriet Jacobsen deltog. Ingredienser: Vand, byg, hvede, havre, blåbær, brun farin, 3 forskellige humletyper og gær. Tilsat Co2. Eksperimentet Gæstebryg nr. 1 er et forsøg på at lave en øl med et nordisk præg. De store mængder af havre og blåbær giver øllet en fyldig smag og duft, der henleder en til det sene nordiske forår.

Enjoyit (2782) - Vadum, - FEB 8, 2008
Hazy muddy redbrown of color with a beige head. An aroma of malt, fruit and sour notes. A flavor sweets, fruits and malt. Didn’t enjoy this one - tasted it a few times and in the drain with it!!!

EBF08. Cloudy amber with a white head. Aroma is malty caramel. Flavour is malty caramel, with some fruity notes.

Hansen (4572) - Assentoft, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2008
Tap onEBF 2008. Brown and hazy. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of fruit, blueberries. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Nice with a blueberry-beer with blueberry-notes.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2008 Tap at EBF08. Dark brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma and taste of sweet malts, hops, berrys, plum. A bit sherry/port mouthfeel. Served too cold but 2. taste I waited to taste and that gave the beer a lot more mouthfeel and longer and dry finish.

On tap at EBF 08. Lovely fruit beer. Cloudy brown. Looks like dirty water but the blueberry is quite subtle on the aroma and then in the mouth the fruit flavour comes alive. extremely good fruit beer, that allows the beer to come through. Good fruit in mouth, with a drying finish.

Sampled at EBF2008. Pours an unclear brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malty and sweet. The flavor has brown malt and caramel. The mouthfeel is refreshing.

Draught@EBF2008. Hazy deep ambery brown colour. Small head. Aroma is glue, wood, nectar, mild juniper and some alcoholic sweetness. Flavour is almond, marsipan, sweet fruits and some mild wooden notes. Also a slight alcoholic burn towards the end.

(Draught@EBF). Murky nut brown color, tiny off-white head. Raisins and cognac in the nose. Fizzy. Woody, earthy flavor. Some raisins, overriped banana, but overall quite "watery". Light alcohol in the finish.

EBF 2008, Valby, DK. On tap. Brown with no head. Aroma of citrus and malt with yeasty tones. Flavor is caramel, red berries and low bitterness.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught Dull hazy amber-brown, with no head left. Whiskey nose! (and none in the whiskey beer...); sourish-fruity, mole sauce. Sweet, with a typical taste of five-spices (Chinese herbs) and some whisky or Bourbon barrel. Fruity esters, but held in check. No real fruit taste. Medium bodied, slick, lightly burning MF. Weird ideas at this brewery.

Draught @ EBF 2008. Murky brown color, cloudy. Spicy flavor with orange, caramel, yeasty and vinous notes. Some berries in the aroma. Thin, alcoholic and a bit disappointing.
