COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, as well as lighter notes of vegetables, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle, shared by Fonefan. It pours a clear, brown body under a small, beige head. Some smoke on the nose, else it’s sweetish and lightly spiced, with some tea and blueberry. The flavor is pretty much the same as the aroma. Not my idea of an abbey beer, but rather nice. Medium body, quite dry. The finish has some herbal bitterness. Not very interesting, but a decent beer.
