fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Mar 18, 2008 Draught at Cockney Pub, Århus Hazy copper-to-orange color with thin creamy head. It’s a good golden ale, with some caramel flavor and a quite good hopping, noticeable in the aroma (fruity and grassy) and later too (fruity and lightly resiny). It’s on the dry side. Good. oh6gdx (5906), Vaasa, Finland Aug 24, 2008 Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Golden colour, mediumsized foamy beige head, lacing. Aroma is fruits, yeast and spices. Flavoir is yeast, spices and earth along with some fruityness. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 6, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of BelJohansen. Pours a hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, citrusy hop aroma. Medium-bodied with sweet malts and fruit. Subdued bitterness. One of the better offerings from this brewer. 220308 thewolf (3651), Kolding, Denmark Mar 15, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel. [as Påske Fabel 2008]
Pours a deep, lightly muddy orange. A big, creamy off white head on top. Aroma is softly hoppy, quite fruity with a good dose of doughy malts. Good and quite lively mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely hoppy, a bit malty sweet. Perhaps the yeast is a bit too much. Rye sure comes to the fore in the aftertaste. TheDog (258), Aarhus, Denmark Mar 27, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy amber colour with almost creamy white head. Fresh and fruity aroma and taste, with a bit spicy notes. Very well balanced finish, with a caramel touch. Very nice prize also, at DagliBrugsen Mejdal only dkr. 9,95 :-)
