On draft at the Atlantis in Nassau. This is by far the best local beer, since everything else is just lagers. Pours brown/black, big head. Aroma not the best, but the flavor is chocolatey with hints of coffee. A bit watery, but not bad at all.

A very decent Foreign stout. Nice coffee aroma is very rich. Pour was a deep dark brown with just a thin light tan film for a head. Compared to the other beers made in the Bahamas, this was fantastic. Nice heavy coffee flavor started in the front. Dark roasted malt bittered the back of the tongue and carried through to the aftertaste. Was a little watery after the swallow, but the mouth did have some bitter hops/roasted malt left over to carry into the next sip. Not bad
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cavie (3249) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - SEP 8, 2011
Bottle courtesy Fratto. Pours a very dark brown color that turns a glorious ruby red when held to the light. Aroma is a letdown. A bit of malt but mainly watered down. Just caught a whiff of perfume? Not sure bout that. Flavor is dry malts, cardboard flavors and dark roast. Not that great.

Bouteille 330 ml. 7.6%. THANKS Catherine !! Couleur brune très foncé, mousse blanche beige abondante. Arômes de malt torréfié et café...chocolat aussi. En bouche, assez mince, notes de chocolat, café, un peu de houblon. Finale avec un peu d’amertume et de moka. Bonne.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Block (864) - West Lafayette, Indiana, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Similar to other Bohemian beers, Strong Back Stout is on the lighter side. Even for a stout it was very easy to drink in the hot weather outside. Malt with coffee and dark chocolate. Light body and pretty smooth. Lacks the creaminess that would make this beer harder to drink in the climate.
