A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and a thin body. Surprisingly good, but still below average.

Bottled (thanks heemer77!). Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is hay, maize and paper. Flavour is maize and some weird sweet notes. Not very pleasant, but still a new country.

Golden color, small white head. Papery maize aroma. Sweetish, almost sugary sweetcorn flavor. Fruity, sweet tropical lager, reasonably clean flavor. And new beer country!

bhensonb (14094) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 14, 2007
Bottle from Ceveceria Monterrey, S.A. Light grassy hop aroma. Brassy gold color with a white head that quickly filmed. Almost medium bodied with moderate carbonation. The sweet start has a fruity character attached. Very, very little bitter. Cleaner and crisper than many imported pale lagers. Better than Bud, unless you like adjuncts.

Drake (11791) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2010
12 ounce bottle from Inari Wines in Bristol, VA. Pours a clear pale golden color... well, given the clear bottle you can see exactly the color in the picture. Medium frothy head, fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of skunk, corn and some grainy notes. Taste is grain, corn, green bananas and an acrid, chemical note. Thin bodied. Typical.

Bottled: Pale yellow coloured. White small head. Sweet and malty aroma. Flavour is malty with light grassy notes. Ends on a sweet note. Is very thin bodied, but surprisingly it has some vague charackter.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear golden with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly leaves sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a skunky corn malt. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet corn malt and skunk flavor. Not much going on with this one.

10/25/11. 12oz bottle. Clear golden pour with a small fluffy off-white head that fades but sticks a bit. Creamy creamed corn aroma that reeks of corn chips and sweet sugar. Slightly sweet flavor with corn chips, metal, and green apples. Bleeech.

PorterPounder (7335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 6, 2007
Tallahassee, Fl. - Leon Pub - 12 oz bottle. Pale golden pour, thin, pithy white head. Chemically aroma. Cool looking painted bottle with a big sailfish on it. Typical Central American lager with some boiled corn, cardboard and metal. Hint of honey sweetness redeems it somewhat. Thinnish and slightly harsh mouthfeel. Overall, quite bland though and not very refeshing.
