A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and a thin body. Surprisingly good, but still below average.

Bottled (thanks heemer77!). Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is hay, maize and paper. Flavour is maize and some weird sweet notes. Not very pleasant, but still a new country.

Golden color, small white head. Papery maize aroma. Sweetish, almost sugary sweetcorn flavor. Fruity, sweet tropical lager, reasonably clean flavor. And new beer country!

Bottle from Ceveceria Monterrey, S.A. Light grassy hop aroma. Brassy gold color with a white head that quickly filmed. Almost medium bodied with moderate carbonation. The sweet start has a fruity character attached. Very, very little bitter. Cleaner and crisper than many imported pale lagers. Better than Bud, unless you like adjuncts.

Bottled: Pale yellow coloured. White small head. Sweet and malty aroma. Flavour is malty with light grassy notes. Ends on a sweet note. Is very thin bodied, but surprisingly it has some vague charackter.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2005 The initial stench is the overriding factor for my rating. After that, Nothing could save this "beer" in my eyes. It smelled like dirty, sweaty gym socks that were stored in the corner of a dank, moldy basement. Gold, no head. Corn syrup sweet with metallic aftertaste. A mother would disown her child for less.

12 ounce bottle from Inari Wines in Bristol, VA. Pours a clear pale golden color... well, given the clear bottle you can see exactly the color in the picture. Medium frothy head, fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of skunk, corn and some grainy notes. Taste is grain, corn, green bananas and an acrid, chemical note. Thin bodied. Typical.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain/husks), trace hops (herbs), with notes of DMS, dead fish, and soiled mattress. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky/unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Ahem.

Clear, very light straw color. Fluffy, wispy, plastic white head. Herbal, grassy, skunky scents. LIght caramel start. Really rather non-objectionable. That changes mid quaff with a mild bitterness. A mild rancid nut sort of flavor continues into the finish and linger. Blah...

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, Oregon. Pours a golden pale yellow brew with an average white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of slight skonk, corn grits, some honey and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with a fruity and corn-like malt flavor. Finish is slightly bitter, then a clean cut and dry aftertaste. Actually this product is not too bad. Would like to try a fresh bottle the next time.
