2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a 2 finger thick white head. The nose is caramel and citrus. The taste is earthy hops, bitter citrus rind, grapefruit and booze. Medium bodied. Not digging this one – too boozy and unbalanced.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 Oz bottle pour shared. Very mild grainy aroma with some hints of sweet tea leaves. Pours a clear golden color. Floral flavor with some huge green tea flavor. One that lingers forever. Definitely a different beer then the rest. Fun beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a bottle. Almost clear gold. Thick white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma of malts and green tea. Taste of tea with a strange bitterness. Not as good as I had hoped.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from room temp shelf, chilled. Pours a hazed light orange. Some froth, almost wheaty looking. Aroma is different, floral like, dry tea, alcohol toasty malt, bready yeast, and light sweetness, fairly fragrant but wouldn’t say its an exceptionally nice aroma overall. Flavor is tea light caramel malts and strong alcohol heat. Alcohol burn in finish, overly dry, mostly alcohol heat but maybe a tea astringency. I kinda like green tea but this isn’t really working for me on the level I thought it would. I suppose for what it is its done well but overall its just a nice novelty concept that seems over the top but doesn’t drink like it is. Good not great.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a slightly hazy medium gold. Aroma is an interesting mix of tea and pine. Green tea flavor up front but it is quickly overtaken by hops. Loads of pine behind the tea but the interplay is perfect. High bitterness and a drying finish. Great drinkability considering the strength. Awesome beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours slightly clear gold with creamy white head. Aroma is heavy green tea, light floral hops, cereal malts, and light spices. Flavor is a green tea up front that blends really well into fresh hop bitterness and faint toast. Medium body and carbonation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
5 oz draft pour. Crystal clear "Stone IPA" gold with a thick eggshell head that leaves an intricate wall of dripping lace. Nose involves a big blast of straight up green tea, some spice, lime, honey, and toasted malt. Slightly sweet, decently bitter. Full bodied, oily, softish, with a very dry lingering herbal tea finish. Really enjoyable, though if I had a 22 oz. bottle, I would want to share it. That dryness is something else, bordering on too much, but I appreciate it. Perhaps this is the beer to convert Cab drinkers to craft beer? Very cool.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
650 ml. bottle, 2015 second edition 10.1% abv. Pours a clear golden-orange with a film of bubbles. Big nose of resin, slightly earthy beeswax, citrus zest, mint and tea leaf. Tastes of spicy honey-toasted grain, orange and grapefruit flesh, evergreen resin and a big finish of tea leaf and mint. Medium-large body has an almost peppery hop/tea leaf tingle and no hint of the big abv. Medium-high, but smooth, carbonation helps rather than distracting from this big beer. Mild astringency seems to be mainly from the tea, but it’s not a distraction. I usually have a problem with minty flavors in beer, but this one balances it pretty well against other big tastes.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not typically a fan of tea beers, but this one is quite good. The jasmine flavor here is more floral than grassy and adds a very nice balance to the bright west coast hops.
