2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Hazy deep gold-to-orange color with lots of visible, chunky sediment. Medium white head at first, with poor retention, receding into zero foam. Floral and citric hops and green tea in the aroma, with a light, clean alcohol burn and underlying maris otter toasty maltiness. Herbal and spicy flavor with the tea coming out more and lending a light astringency in the finish. Sweetness is just enough to carry everything, and alcohol dries out the finish and becomes noticeable in the tongue. A little medicinal in the aftertaste, which I’m not a big fan of. The body is manageable but I could use some more carbonation, as it’s on the low side. Overall, an interesting concept that could be explored further, perhaps with a lower gravity beer, but I think this attempt missed the mark a little in the finishing of the beer. Lose the chunks and up the carbonation and that would be a good start. Draught was/is probably better.

Ok. Some will probably love this, myself..... Not so much. Tasted like an ipa mixed with some Canned Arizona green tea. Like some twisted Japanese Arnold palmer. Not a good combo at all.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden orange, frothy white head. Smells like baby aspirin and ginger and tea. Flavor seems to a little too much on the sweet side. I get some ginger, citrus and what I think is green tea.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep, clean orange color with a great creamy dense head. Aroma of hops hits the nose as soon as the beer is poured. Bright citrus orange, light mango and a tremendous amount of green tea at the very end of the nose. Flavor has a very spicy, herbal character as a whole. Starts off with some light citrus and spicy notes but then then quickly moves to a pronounced green tea flavor with a strong alcohol hot kick that works well. Body is perfect with a modest/heavy feeling but keeps the flavors from becoming watery. Overall a pretty tasty beer but just a little less alcohol and this would be the perfect beer. Just a note, the alcohol on this current brewing was 10.1%...not the 9.2% listed above in the description.

22 Oz bottle pour shared. Very mild grainy aroma with some hints of sweet tea leaves. Pours a clear golden color. Floral flavor with some huge green tea flavor. One that lingers forever. Definitely a different beer then the rest. Fun beer.

Poured from a bottle. Almost clear gold. Thick white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma of malts and green tea. Taste of tea with a strange bitterness. Not as good as I had hoped.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from room temp shelf, chilled. Pours a hazed light orange. Some froth, almost wheaty looking. Aroma is different, floral like, dry tea, alcohol toasty malt, bready yeast, and light sweetness, fairly fragrant but wouldn’t say its an exceptionally nice aroma overall. Flavor is tea light caramel malts and strong alcohol heat. Alcohol burn in finish, overly dry, mostly alcohol heat but maybe a tea astringency. I kinda like green tea but this isn’t really working for me on the level I thought it would. I suppose for what it is its done well but overall its just a nice novelty concept that seems over the top but doesn’t drink like it is. Good not great.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a slightly hazy medium gold. Aroma is an interesting mix of tea and pine. Green tea flavor up front but it is quickly overtaken by hops. Loads of pine behind the tea but the interplay is perfect. High bitterness and a drying finish. Great drinkability considering the strength. Awesome beer.

Bottle. Pours slightly clear gold with creamy white head. Aroma is heavy green tea, light floral hops, cereal malts, and light spices. Flavor is a green tea up front that blends really well into fresh hop bitterness and faint toast. Medium body and carbonation.
