COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beneath the cool facade of the warrior, a red-hot flame of intensity, determination and, yes, anger burns. So it is with this unpredictable Brown Ale: fleeting malty sweetness and warmth hide complexity, a barely controlled bitterness, and, naturally, a bit of an angry edge. You’ve really got yourself into a situation now. "Anger is energy. Use it, then let it go." Kampai!

Amber color with beige head. Aroma is cherry, peaches aroma, quite sweet. Taste is malty, but also fruity. Dry finish. Quite nice.

Tap @ Pudel bar. Pours a hazy coke-like brown with no head to speak of. Raspberry and cherry with some fruity sweetness. Malty with licorice, herbs and fruit. Medium body withba sticky palate. The beer got quite warm before I got to it but I’m not at all disappointed. A surprisingly complex brown ale.

Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session 4, 02/05/2015. Rich amber topped with a decent beige swirl. Nose is earthy hops, biscuit, light spice, bitter orange. Taste comprises caramel, light pine, earthy hop. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok brown.

Pours hazy brown with thin beige head. Aroma is very sweet caramel and floral. Tastes sweet in the beginning but you get the hops kicking next. A lovely ale.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown. Aroma and taste are light caramel, mostly hops with a bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a light to medium hazy brown with a creamy fine-grained light tan head. Nose is roast almonds, sherry, golden raisins, and hard cheese. Quite sweet on the front of the tongue, then shifting into a sharp, herbal, floral hoppy bitterness. More dried fruit and crisp nuttiness on the tongue. A definite new take on brown ale, and one I like; it stays with the sherry notes all the way through the finish. Most interesting.

Old note. Aroma has caramel/toffee malts with some citrus. Hazy, red-brown coloured beer with a non lasting off-white head. The taste is sweet, has some bitterness, caramel and citrus mainly. Pleasant mouthfeel. Nice.
