3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Beer Stop - bottle - split with Aurelius. Murky dark orange pour, bubbly, soft white head. Some vanilla, light spiciness and cake mix in the aroma. Cake mix maltiness in the flavor, some slight vegetable funkiness, yeasty, cloying sweetness. Smooth mouthfeel. Had better brown ales.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bad label, muddy-ruddy brew. Vanilla, cakey, woody aroma. Tastes pretty much like it smells. Effervescent, woody, medium heavy body. Beer Stop, Tallahassee.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from 360mL bottle. Cloudy, brown with beige head. Mild caramel malt and toasted malt with subtle floral hops, flavour finishes with an interesting sticky, sweet-ish tamarind/toffee like taste. Quite an interesting blend, tastes good, but a little bit odd.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours brown-amber with a medium off white head. Aroma is molasses and not quite (almost) chocolaty malts. Taste is heavy sweet malts up front with a bitter hoppy twang taking over the mid palate and leading to a steady bitter finish. Tastewise, this could almost be a black IPA, but the color’s all wrong. A great brown, however, packed with flavor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at the Roadhouse BBQ, Bangkok. Poured a hazy dark amber with a thin, broken, off-white head. The aroma is surprisingly peachy. The flavour is medium bitter with a big fruit, hop liqourice bitter palate and a little toothpaste with a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. It’s the strangest "brown ale" I’ve ever had!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle purchased at Siciliano’s. Clear amber to brown pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, tobacco and florals. Malty flavor with character of tamarind and molasses before a caramelly finish.
