COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beneath the cool facade of the warrior, a red-hot flame of intensity, determination and, yes, anger burns. So it is with this unpredictable Brown Ale: fleeting malty sweetness and warmth hide complexity, a barely controlled bitterness, and, naturally, a bit of an angry edge. You’ve really got yourself into a situation now. "Anger is energy. Use it, then let it go." Kampai!

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a bit muddy somewhat hazy brown color. one and a half finger white foamy head that died within about a minute and leaves an absolute super amount of foamy lacing sticking to the sides. The smell had a somewhat nutty but has a super amount of fruity aspects invading the aroma. The taste was mildly sweet through the fruity notes, still there’s a nutty aspect that helps to define a somewhat decent mild sweet flavoring all throughout; a super quick strong dry malty yet somewhat fruity aftertaste; the finish is almost non-existent, but I do get a really dry finish for the most part. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, and was prettty sessionable - mmmm...perhaps if one wants to be, however for me, I don’t see this as sessionable as perhaps some may see. Carbonation is good for the style and for me - well, ok, not bad as its not too sharp and too smooth just all around ok. Overall, I say this is a fairly good English Brown ale that I think I could have again, nothing bad yet nothing standout-ish.

From bottle, pours a murky brown with a medium yellowish white head. Good sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and fruits and roasted malts. Taste is immediately hoppy, some sweetness, caramel, roasted malts, dark fruits. Medium mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Hoppy not quite bitter finish. Nicely done. Enjoyed in Narita, Japan.

Aroma is pineapple , citrus and grass. Taste is a earthiness that derives from the hops . The bitterness isnt overwhelming but leaves some tartiness.Cloudy brown body that has some sediment formed on the bottom. Head retains well.

Cloudy, deep brown color. Big foamy beige head. Hoppy, bitter aroma with a bit of cocoa. Chocolatety bitter flavor that’s on the mellow side. The texture is a little creamy. Quite a nice brown ale. The finish is bitter and malty with a bit of chocolate.
