3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: pours a hazy, dark, brown with a nice thick tan head. It has a malty, sweet, roasty aroma. The flavor is a perfect example of what a brown should be, nice and malty with a roastiness that fills your mouth.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 36cl. It pours a dense, off-white finger-thick head over a clear, dark amber body. Some lacings. The aroma has a nice hoppyness with citrus peel and resins, and a nice maltyness in the back. Some oxidation, but I blame that on the long journey from Japan, via Denmark. Some oxidation in the flavor too, followed by a nice, citrusy bitterness. Medium to full body, smooth and dry on the palate. Some bitterness towards the end. A pleasant one. 120302

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours Hazy amber/ brown. Aroma not intense but pleasant with a fruity smell. Goes down well, with some citrus fruits and the warmer the beer gets, more caramel malts appear. All up it’s a good beer but without any massive surprises

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.36l bottle from BrewDog web shop shared with Inbreak. This is a clear dark cola-amber one with a big bubbly khaki head that’s leaving some nice lacings down the glass. On the aroma this is light caramel burned-sweet with some nice notes of red fruits, cocoa powder, wood, chocolate paper and red grapes. Interesting enough really. It’s average carbonated with a light slick texture in the mouth. Flavors are at first almost a bit sour, then it get’s kinda dark-malty with chocolate, some dark fruits and perhaps even some biscuits. This was a nice surprise. 14.06.2012
