COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beneath the cool facade of the warrior, a red-hot flame of intensity, determination and, yes, anger burns. So it is with this unpredictable Brown Ale: fleeting malty sweetness and warmth hide complexity, a barely controlled bitterness, and, naturally, a bit of an angry edge. You’ve really got yourself into a situation now. "Anger is energy. Use it, then let it go." Kampai!

Grapefruit, roasted cereals aroma. Rich malt flavor, citrus hops, brown sugar, roasted bitter finish. Very hoppy brown ale, with a quite aggressive if not angry character >:(

Visual: (cellared for 4 years). Pours muddy nutty brown with smallish dissipating head, thin layer of micro retention mixed with some big bubbles, clustered steady effervescence. Nose: brown sugar carameled barley malts. (lvl-7)-pungency Attack: crisp, thicker Mid-palate: background soft tangy-sour, (lvl-5-sweetness), smooth crisp-cream-slick mouthfeel, rum & dry coke, brown sugar barley malt Finish: woody toasted-burnt barley malt exhale, stealth subtle very soft lingering hopped bitter. Summary: Oh so smooth and balanced brown ale with good complexity. Delicious.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Tap na BGM. Dość klasyczny brown ale. Sporo nut orzechów, karmelu, ciasteczek w aromacie i smaku. Przyjemny do wypicia, ale nie zachwyca w żadnym aspekcie.

Bottle@riga airport with Erik. One finger very haze brown. Mix of Malty/Hoppyness. Cookie maltyness and citrus hops. Fruity dry bitterness. Love this clone of and us brown ale. Best in a long time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

decent malty, light nutty flavored brew. Light sweet, medium body, light to medium carbonation. Not a complex one, rather drinkable, medium range dark malts toasted flavor. Light bitter. A bit sludge like texture.

(Baird Angry Boy Brown Ale) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a big shaker, ABV 7% Dark amber coloured body, mostly clear, with a good sized and thick enough beige head sitting on top, with good retention. Aroma has hops, light caramel and toffee, some orange. Taste also of orange, hops, citrus, tangerine, light malts, toffee. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice and easy to drink, cleanest and the more tasty from the Baird beers I’ve had till now.

R4N5H (639) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2015
33cl bottle on 12-Dec-2015, purchased at De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. ABV 7%. Reddish brown colour with a small white head which dissipates relatively quickly. Aroma of toffee and sweet malt. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Flavour heavy in malt, caramel and hops. Bitter at first but sweetens as the ale warms. A simple flavoursome brown ale.
