COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beneath the cool facade of the warrior, a red-hot flame of intensity, determination and, yes, anger burns. So it is with this unpredictable Brown Ale: fleeting malty sweetness and warmth hide complexity, a barely controlled bitterness, and, naturally, a bit of an angry edge. You’ve really got yourself into a situation now. "Anger is energy. Use it, then let it go." Kampai!

Brown pour with a beige head. Aroma is nutty, nice malt. Taste is nutty, malty, chalky finish. Tasty, but is it worth $5 a bottle? To try it, yes.

330ml bottle from Mitsuya’s in Asagaya, Tokyo. Poured into a snifter. Deep chocolate brown color with a modest tan head. Caramel, toffee, malts and brown sugar aroma. Starts off sweet on the palate finishing up with a bitter dry finish. Really good brown.

Brown beer, tan head. Hoppy nose with caramel and fruit. Flavor has a decent amount of hops, toasty notes, caramel, malt. Mildly hoppy finish. Not bad, but not remarkable. Shared by martjoobolut, thanks!

Bottle poured a murky orange-brown hue w/ large long lasting creamy tan head and thick lacing. Bold malty aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are malt, brown sugar, cardboard and grass. Full bodied, highly carbonated and a warm finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks like a typical brown but is drier and more bitter than average thanks to a shot of grapefruit that hits right up front.
