My Bottom Line:
Citrusy hops and lean cereals meet before leafy hop resins provide a flavorful bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the amber-hued golden.
-The mouthfeel is soft and feels natural.
-The flavor profile is balanced, as is the case for almost every Baird beer I’ve had.
-This is highly drinkable for the style.
-Aromatic hops could be more engaging for the style.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2012 On tap at Cheers. Light copper color with a thin head. Aroma: quite hoppy, with light malts. Light rye feel in the mouth. Good maltiness, caramel and fruity, but light. Great hops.

Bottle at RBJG 2 Grand Tasting, thanks KyotoLefty. Amber colour with a small white head. Fruity hops aroma. Flavour matches the aroma, fruity hops.

330ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some spicy notes and caramel. Taste is a bold grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with some spicy pepper notes and a caramel malty sweetness. This brew is much more complex than I can describe here. One of the better IPA’s that I have tried in a few months. Outstanding!

Spicy rye and cinammon notes hit the nose with just a touch of citrus. Spicy, fruity, fig, citrusy mouth. Lingering bitterness. Rye is nice, but I didn’t find the beer particularly balanced - odd given that all other Baird beers are balanced, even if I don’t like them.

Bottle at Tim’s RPJG#2. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Smells of hops. Sweet and hoppy. Bitter. Lots of hops aromas. Medium bodied. Dry finish. Medium to high carbonation.

Bottle. Aroma is great, light cheesy funkiness, bit spicy, earthy too. Taste is good, tropical fruit but lots of spice, pepper, bitter, grapefruit, cream cheese and chive. Yum.

Hazy brown color with an off-white head with good duration and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of rye, toasted amalts and caramel. Flavor is bittery, toasty and some spiced notes. Bitterness in the final with a mild dry mouthfeel.
