COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fruited & dry-peeled IPA. Daidai is an extremely aromatic and tartly sour local citrus fruit that we marry together with three powerfully fruity varieties of American hops: Citra, Simcoe and Chinook. 65 bittering units of hops in the kettle provide a magnificent stage for the daidai fruit performance that happens in the whirlpool (juice and peels) and then again in the conditioning tank (dry-peeling). The result is magnificent — an IPA like no other.

Draft at Tadg’s. Much more citrus fruit presence than I was expecting, but well balanced with adequate hops. A bit too much lasting sweetness for my taste, but certainly unique and enjoyable.

Juicy, lots of fruit. Lots of daidai, very well balanced, but doesn’t hit me up as good as the Nelson. Moderate bitter finish. Very succulent with the daidai fruit really prominent.

Draught at Tadg’s. Blonde with orange tints and a low head. Big citrus nose, orange, peels, daidai, blends with hops, also honey and bread. Big daidai flavor but blends perfectly with hops, grass, orange, nice sweetness, especially with time, and big bitter finish. Great body, light but solid. Refreshing and hugely drinkable. Great stuff.

Keg at Baird Harajuku Taproom. Pale slightly cloudy blond colour with small white head. Aroma is tangerine, touch of cream, pine hops. Lots of fruit. Really lovely aroma. Taste is fruity, orange citrus, bit of wheat, not as full on as the smell, but still nice. Nice bitterness. Pretty nice.
