COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a classic Scottish-style Export Ale. It is richly malty and yet extremely balanced and quaffable. One single kettle dosage of the wonderfully floral and spicy American hop Glacier provides a zesty ballast to the juicy-fruit maltiness. Fermented and conditioned at low ale temperatures, there is a particularly clean and round character to this liquid Scottish treat. This very limited beer is available on draught only at the Fishmarket Taproom and select Baird Beer retailers in Japan

Clear deep amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and mild hoppy notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Bitter finish from the hops.

Hand pump at the Nakameguro Taproom. Reddish brown, clear, with a a thick, frothy head. Malty, orange, sweet caramel, and light sweetness in the aroma. Body is a bit dry and bitter. Flavor is rather light. Toasted malts, some citric fruit, and a sweet background. SMooth and refreshing though not a flavor powerhouse. Easily session-able, though.

TimE (2065) - Tokyo, JAPAN - FEB 15, 2007

Deep amber color with a golden brown hue. Big head with subdued peaty notes. Mouth is smooth with oranges, peach and touch of peat. Ligh bodied. A touch of peaty malt with caramel hits the back of the throat. Malty finish with some unpleasent grainy notes.
