Draft - Sweet tropical fruit, flowery with a caramel backbone. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Light tropical fruit, mandarin and a light bitterness. Fruit is very pronounced and dominates entire profile.

Mikan peel aroma. Citrus hops, lime, mild cereals, bitter finish. Nothing too exciting, the daidai bitterness clearly dominates over hop/malt flavors.

Citrus should lend itself to big citrusy IPAs, but I find this to be overtly sweet and juicy, when i like light, lean and dry IPAs. Still drinkable but the pint was more than enough for me.

Tap at Dig. Pretty deep orange color with loace. Citrus nose, oranges and biscuit malts. Nice biscuit malt flavor, good citrus. Very juicy, light hops. Bready, with orange and lemon. Quite tangy. A bit too juicy feeling, but good.

On tap at Rainbow's End Festival, Kyoto. Murky orange, minimal head. Dusty hoppy nose, loads of citrus. Medium carbonation, smooth body. Grapefruit, orange and passionfruit. Bitter finish. Delightful.

On tap at Baird Harajuku. Light yellowish golden colour, less of a haze than many Bairds. Nicely balanced, hop forward but sufficient body. Really quite hoppy, but no piney resinous aggression. Instead nice citrusy flavours, and a bitter but floral finish. The daidai seems to complement not dominate. Good job.
