Draught at Baird Naka-Meguro Taproom. Very black. Heavy licorice and coffee aroma. Dryish with plenty of coffee. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel, tough a tad syrupy at times. Salty finish with almost aggressive tar.

Draught at the Nakameguro Taproom. Woody, coffee aroma, smoky with roasted malts. Great balance, with some sweetness. Undistinguished but decent stuff.

Besides a slightly thin body this is a decent beer. A very hoppy stout, athough not overly so. Nothing too mind blowing but cetainly different

I found this much like the Shimaguni Stout, but with the hops cranked up. Very hoppy stout with a good roasted malt backbone. Very American. Still enjoyable, but would rather have the Shimaguni for balance.
