3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 TimE (2604) - Tokyo, JAPAN - SEP 19, 2007
Hazy golden color. Light fragerant nose. Peaches and a touch of ume tartness. Very idosynchractic. Very carbonated. Light plum finish. My friend said it got lost on him the complexity. I would have to agree. If you aren’t hard core about beer it would be hard to get.

Bottle, 633ml, at Patricks. A hazy, yellowish golden beer topped by a small white head. Fruity nose, apricot and some perfumed notes. A bit sweet on the palate, medium body. Apricot, hints of cellar and not enough hops in the flavor. Apricot and malty sweetness in the finish. An easy drinkable beer that won’t exite or offend anyone. 100213
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Capa (1908) - Manama, BAHRAIN - SEP 20, 2007
Nice looking hazy golden with a medium head. Light tart fruit, some hops, and a little malt. It’s nice, but I wish it was stronger. Flavor is similar, but rather weak, unfortunatly. Medium, well carbonated body. Baird produces some great beers and this one is almost one of them, but it’s a little on the weak side.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Davros (1515) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 28, 2012
Pours very pale straw with a fading head.
Nose shows some funk and sweet stonefruit along with faint wheat.
Acidic flavours, but with doughy notes underneath and the faintest hint of more stonefruit. Very drinkable but not all that interesting.
Needs more carbonation.

633 ml bottle, as Baird Beer Japan Tale Ale 2009, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6%. Cloudy pale brownish yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Pleasant fruity aroma, notes of plums and citrus, also sweetish malts, hints of caramel and wood. The flavour is very fruity and fairly sweet, notes of plums and citrus again, with a mild spiciness in the finish.

Bottle. Hazy orange body with a fine off-white head. Aroma is light fruity like citric and fresh red berries with caramel. Flavor is sweet malty with fruit from both citric and red berries and a mild bitterness. The hop flavor is quite mild, but distinct and gets more present in the aftertaste. Quite pleasant, for me this is like a session beer with a gentle complexity that become more difficult to find after a few stronger beers.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KyotoLefty (4777) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 19, 2009
Draught at Barley.
Cloudy, muddy, light amber orange color with a nice, fine, frothy head. Grainy pils malt and sour ume aroma, with wheat. Sweet wheat malt flavor, lots of esters and fruit, ume and a touch of banana. Very creamy, lightly hopped with just a bit of bitterness. OK but rather boring and too sweet; slightly cloying with a strange yeast character.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 thebeertourist (4313) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 3, 2010
Bottle at Olympen. Cloudy, glowing orange with a good off-white head. Hoppy and berryish aroma. Some sourness, sweet malts, semi-dry. Body could be fuller. A Belgian-style blond ale that, sadly, has lost its personality.
