COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Milk stouts get their name from additions of lactose either during kettle boil or at packaging or both. They fall under the general category of ’sweet stouts,’ which tend to be characterized by dextrin-rich wort that is fermented to low attenuation and thus is moderate in alcoholic strength, rich in flavor and robust in mouthfeel. Mama’s Milk Stout is all of these things.
