This quenching brew is crafted in the American west-coast style. It sports a beautiful soft citrus hop aroma which gives way to a round, honeyed-fruit flavor. The finish is crisp and refreshing.

Citrus hops aroma. Bitter grapefruit flavor, nutty bread, floral hops, pepper, dry bitter finish. Simple but efficient pale ale, a bit too dry on the palate.

Found this at a new restaurant. The aroma was a great balance of hops and malt. Taste was the same great mix. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from Erzbierschof - Clear orange color with small white head - fruity, citrus hops, malt aroma - sweet malt flavor with hints of orange - medium body, good carbonation, medium bitter finish - good pale ale but nothing amazing

Lovely aroma of passion fruit, grapefruits and sweet grapes. Flavour is a bit more on the dry side, still fruity, and perhaps not with sufficient "bite" on the spicy side. Still, if the style here is correct, this is one of the most pleasant APAs I have tried.

Poured a hazy amber colour with a one-finger white bubbly head that diminished slowly and laced OK. Low carbonation. Aroma of mild fruity hops which is quite inviting. Taste of fruity hops; well balanced. Light to medium body. Smooth, crisp mild fruity hops driven finish. Quite a nice beer.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2013 360ml bottle with nice Japanese artwork on the label. Pours amber with an off-white foam head, cloudy with particles. Very pleasant aroma of citrus and orange. Bittersweet taste that is like something between a traditional APA and an IPA. The first beer from far east Asia I have tried that I truly enjoyed and think is world class, one of the best beers I have had. It is a shame however that these are so expensive here in Sweden, goes for ~ $9.2. And it is only temporarily stocked, with a better price and availability this beer would be something I would regularly drink.

Mild hopfiger Antrunk, deutlich grasig. Spritzig, hopfig bleibend, Honig, zum Ende dunkler. Deutlich fruchtig. 11/9/9/9/11/9

Bottle. Yeah, this was pretty classy. Strong citrus hop aromas. Handsome orange-brown body, deep rough head. Delicious flavours of balanced and hops, some resin, caramel finish. Not enormous flavours, but restrained and used in just the right way. Finally know what all the talk is about. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Big offwhite head. Clear amber body. Pouring in the dregs makes it opaque and full of big, lumpy floaties. Light resiny tropical fruit aroma with mealy orangey notes. Dry-sweet papery tropical fruit taste with peppery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish candy and tropical fruit aftertaste with resiny papery notes. Very low on flavour, kind of the fluffy and papery ghost of what may once have been a fine pale ale. Odd, because the BBD is 2014-01. (0.36l bottle, Systembolaget Nordstan, Charlottenberg.)
