This quenching brew is crafted in the American west-coast style. It sports a beautiful soft citrus hop aroma which gives way to a round, honeyed-fruit flavor. The finish is crisp and refreshing.

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is grassy light citrus. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a citrus grass light spice hop palate. Mediun to light bodied with soft carbonation. Served cool as it should be. A refreshing pale ale that I’d be happy to drink again.

Teku glass. Amber, with big, medium lasting, white head, medium lacing; Low aroma of citrus (lemon, orange), low aroma of caramel/honey based malts, hints of floral/herbal aromas. Low to medium orange peel-like bitterness, some caramel and bread notes, bitterness from medium till the end is consistant not so strong, also some peppery notes, quite well balanced. Light body, semi-dry, thicky, moderate carbonation, finishing is lightly hoppy and dry , no alcohol warmth. Very simple pale ale, quite refreshing, little bi too dry on palate. There is on info about bottled date I think mine could be quite old and all the described tropical and citrus hoppy aromas could go away.

Hazy copper, big dense head. Smells very sweet, lots of caramel and toffee. Flavor is pretty much what the aroma suggests - sweet caramel and toffee, then a woody hop finish.

Pours slightly cloudy golden. Aroma is lightly hopped. Tasting it has a light body, a good easy to drink beer.

Hazy apricot amber colour with little head left after a few minutes of pouring. Aromas of apricot sweets, some resin and orchard stews, but otherwise not your archetypal APA. Smells sweeter rather than violently hoppy and savoury. The taste is verging on sour with those orchard stonefruit flavours prevailing. Some astringent bitterness, but not an APA I would immediately think of when recalling this style. Likeable enough, but I would look for another pint of something else to follow it up with.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a creamy white head. Aroma is malt, citrus, caramel and some hops. Taste is light sweet and a little thin leading to a light bitter finish. OK.

Bottle. Cloudy orange/copper, thin cream head and medium lacing. Typical but subtle APA aromas of tropical fruit, spicy hops and a touch of caramel. Unusual sourness to open, with mid palate pine resin and barely detectable malt, finishing with a long, dry, bitter pine. Edging towards an IPA in my book, missing the great balance between fruity hops and malt as opposed to resinous hops in this beer.
