| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 8, 2008 Pours from 12 oz bottle a hazy orangey brown, foam with large bubbles afloat, aroma of hops, malts, field grass. Flavour much of the same, slight bitter hop tones with a nice malty balance. Irish field grass, along with apricot fruit come into play as well. Soft carbonation makes this APA easy drinking. Not exactly what I call "American west coast style" as stated in the commercial description, but fairly darn good, none the less. Impressive beer from our friends in Nippon. blutt59 (2186), Dallas, Texas, USA
