3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

Clear golden beer, white head. Light citrus aroma and lots of hops and citrus in the flavour. Bit of a bready, malty taste too. Really drinkable.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle, package date 09.11.14.
Toasted malts forwarded medium to light bitter brew. Reminds more homebrew, but maybe due to overtime for pale ale. Mellowed to "old or adult" beer condition but lacks flavor seduction, like balance sum = zerro. Slightly dark amber in color, very foamy top. More bitter so +1 overall compared to previous post.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Hazy orange color with off-white head. In the aroma you get sweet tangerines and other citrus fruits. Taste is also sweet and fruity at first and gets more balanced and slightly bitter with grapefruit notes on the finish. Medium body with a good amount of carbonation. Overall it’s a decent, easy to drink pale ale.

Bottle 330ml. Pours a light copper with a nice cloudy apearance. Aroma. sweet aroma of citrus. Medium body with a low carbonation. Taste is grapefruit and pine with some sweetness and yeast. Taste a bit like a homebrew. Aftertaste is medium bitter with yeast and malts. Like most baird beers the yeast is too much.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml bottle into pint glass, bottled on 12/20/2014. Labeled as 5.5%. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, apple, peach, apricot, mango, light pepper/pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, apple, peach, apricot, mango, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of herbal/piney bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, peach, apricot, mango, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fair amount of dryness after the finish from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice American pale ale style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. Even with the obvious English yeast counterpart, I feel this still fits the American style with it’s citrus and tropical flavors. A very enjoyable offering.
