This quenching brew is crafted in the American west-coast style. It sports a beautiful soft citrus hop aroma which gives way to a round, honeyed-fruit flavor. The finish is crisp and refreshing.

Típica pale, molt caracter de malta però molt ben equilibrada amb els llúpols que li donen un toc cítric. Típica pale, mucho carácter de malta pero muy bien equilibrada con los lúpulos que les dan un toque cítrico.

Pours copper with decent head that disappears quickly. The aroma is sweet grapefruit, lemon zest and a faint hint of pine needles. The flavour is sweet but the bitterness intrudes on what should be an easy drinking beer. Mouthfeel is lacking a little. Very enjoyable but not sessionable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

360mL bottle Rather hazy sort of orange gold body to this one, holds a firm white head. Moderate aroma; honeyed malts, hoppy notes of citrus, grassy and lychee. Medium-full bodied, smooth somewhat creamy texture, subdued carbonation. Lightly toasted malt character on the body with notes of floral honey, hop notes of lemon rind & cut grass with moderate bitterness & lingering minerality. Not bad, lacking a bit of punch.

Bottle. Pours a light copper with a nice cloudy apearance. Aroma. sweet aroma of citrus. Taste. Straight i can taste grapefruit and pine needles, with the latter dominating with some nice watermelon sweetness finishing the beer off. Overall. Quite a good beer, the normal price point in my country however is what will stop me from buying it again, certainly worth a few if a good special comes up.

Light copper, clear, off-white head. This bottle is likely old. Aroma and flavor of oxidized malt with some caravel sweetness, low hop character, some leather.

Great Japanese beer. Certainly not a traditional Japanese beer, but fits very well into the craft beer space. Has a well balanced use of hops. Certainly one I'll drink again.

A very good pale ale. Had it from a bottle at Melbourne modern Japanese restaurant. Full body, light head, strong citrus and watermelon. Good summer session beer.

360 ml bottle bought at foodGARDEN in D2 Place, Lai Chi Kok.

Translucent dull golden amber colour with some chunky yeast sediments; One and a half finger head with beautiful crumpety off-white foam which lasted for 3 minutes; Good sticky lacing with slight carbonation; Fragrant and slight sweet aroma of ale malt, with grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, light orange peel, light floral, sugar, pine, light earth, yeast and light grass; Very light sweet taste of moderate ale malt, with grapefruit notes, molasses, dry biscuits, earth, yeast, light spices, very light resin, lime, bitter hops and light herbal grass; Mid to light body. Slick and slightly oozy palate; Mouth feel is adequate ale maltyness, in a slick but not thick body. Citrus is just notes, not even zests; Minimal molasses, piney but not that oozy, light earth and yeasty biscuits rounded up. Everything is so close and you wish there is more to offer. Hmm... Hoppiness is quite fragrant grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, light pine and light floral in nose. Minimal citrus, light earth, pine, light lime and moderate grass in taste. Bitterness is moderate to light for a very abrupt low bitter non-finish; Dry after taste, slightly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is a rather mild and timid APA. There’s no big bitterness, and every aspects from aroma, body and taste are adequate yet only moderate. It’s very easy to drink alright, yet it gives you that feeling of "there could be so much more to be great". Just decent for now, which seems to be a recurring theme from this brewery.
