Pours somewhat hazy, pale orange. Some nice white foam initially as well, reducing into a thin layer. Aroma has a bit of malts, some sour notes but nothing much. Taste does have some recognisable apple character but not very juicy nor not very strong. Some hop bitterness and then more apple coming out in the aftertaste. Quite simple, quenches thirst but not too exciting.

On tap at Naka meguro taproom. Hazy gold color with a small white quickly dissipating head. Aromas of cider and apple. Thin bodied with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Sweet and tart on the palate. As it warms up the apple stands out with hints of honey and biscuit present as well. Soft carbonation. Finish is smooth but a little boring....could be dryer.

A bit boring fruit beer with sufficient dominant apple taste, that might have profited from additional carbonation.

draught@Erzbierschof - hazy golden-blond beer with a little foam left; candied apple in the nose, light estery; some fair sweetness partially balanced by a light tartness, quite dry and very cardboard-like finish with lingering notes of cellar and apples

Yellow hazy with rich white head. Mild sour (apple?) fruity aroma. Refreshing, bit sour taste, some eagerness (but balanced!), finishing with remaining bitterness on the tongue root.
