Nice roasty aroma. Pleasantly dark, nice tan head. Pleasant roasty taste. Nicely drinkable stout. Roasty. Finish has a bit of coffee. 3.3 probably an under-rate but nothing’s saying wow.

(Bottle) Very dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, black rye bread, coffee, liquorice, hints of dark fruit and a touch of soy sauce. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread, dried fruit, a touch of orange peel (or chocolate with orange) and a dry finish with a balanced roasted bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and tasty dry stout. Nice one.

Gift from a bartender, thanks! Almost black with a small thick and creamy espresso coloured head. Aroma has chocolate, roasted malt, nuts and coffee. Taste has dark chocolate, roasted malt, nuts and coffee. Thin body, soft carbonation, round Bitter roasted after taste.
