Draught at Baird Naka-Meguro Taproom. Almost black. Gently roasy coffee aroma. Dry and creamy, drinks like a Guinness but with way more substance and life. Ligh coffee flavour. Finishes with salty bitterness. A pleasant easy going stout.

3fourths (6950) - Straßgiech, Bavaria, GERMANY - JUL 12, 2005
Bottle at RBSG, thanks to TimE (I think). Dark brown cody with some caramel light at the edge of the liquid. Juicy gummy flavor, with some cannibus and milk flavors. Lacking any stout characteristics. Very watery, oily and slick. Dirty and gritty in the finish. Not a good beer.

Radek Kliber (5906) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUL 23, 2005
Pours light brown, medium tan top. Woody, slightly smoky aroma that is supported loosely by malt base. Smoked malt, refreshing palate, and woody character with neat bitter to it. Not bad.

Ernest (5627) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 6, 2006
RBSG 2005. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, chocolate), lightly yeasty (barnyard), with a note of wood. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Interesting aroma with...wild yeast? Nah, couldn’t be. A bit thin, but a nice balance. I must admit I rather liked this.

On tap at Popeyes in Tokyo. Dark purple to black with a modest head; really strangely watery texture, next to no carbonation; light but unconvincing peat and cocoa powder. Dull finish
