COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brew bursts with hop character while still achieving a sublime balance due to a firm, robust malt backbone. It is a cross between an English-style and American-style India Pale Ale that is full-bodied and refreshing all at once.

Pours dark amber with a large head. Nose shows fruity hops with notes of passion-fruit, peach and pine. Also lots of sweet caramel underneath. Similar flavours, the big surprise though is the toasty and bready malt characters. The hops aren’t quite as complex as the nose suggests, mainly showing pine characters. Carbonation is pretty full on, could be lower.

Bottle, bought @ Vinens Verden, Odense.
Hazy orange amber with a big, lovely, frothy, off-white head with nice duration. Grassy and peachy aroma, some earthy tones, light caramel and honey sweetness. Bit of strawberry. Medium, prickly carbonation, fine dry and light creamy palate. Flavour is caramelly sweet at the centre with some notes of candied oranges and strawberries. Fairly bitter around it,but not that terribly much hops flavour. Grassy and peachy again in the finish. Okay.

Teilwese etwas schwach. 10/9/8/9/11/9

(360ml bottle) Purchased at Cook St Liquors. Pours a huge white head atop a clouded orange body. Nose is very green I’m it’s hoppiness. Flavor bites with tang and rests with a toasty malted finish. Good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is soapy with some fruity hops and berries. Some vanilla and citrus too. Flavour is hoppy with exotic fruits. Also some vanilla and berries. Sweet and thin finish. Adding the yeast makes no big difference, just makes this a bit more stale. Drinkable.

360 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy orange colour with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malts, stinging floral hops with apricot. Some weird shower cream or perfume notes. Flavour of stinging floral hops, apricot, citrus and caramel malts. Metallic notes. Medium bodied with a strong, bitter and fruity finish. Not bad but lacks maltiness.

Countbeer (4323) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - AUG 6, 2011
Bottle: Nice off white long lasting (never disappeared) vast foamy head on top of a hazy darker orange colored beer. Looks good. Smell is a mild mix of hops, citrus, cream, pine and pine apple, herbs and something gass-a-like. Taste is a mix of hops, hop flowers, fruit, citrus, pine, bitter, herbs, grass and slight hints of malts, caramel, cream and some sweets. Good bitter light fruity aftertaste. The bitterness becomes stronger and also a slight dryness comes up. Nice. Medium carbo, tingling mouthfeel, medium to light fuller body and a light watery texture. Good ipa from the land of the rising sun!

GBBF 2011. Bottle. Pours copper with some haziness. Nose is subtle malt and citrous, with some herby, woody notes. Taste is spicy, malty and some woody malt notes. Hops giving some citrous and tropical fruit. In the background there is something spicy that I can’t quite put my finger on. Cedar wood?

Hazy orange with a frothy durable tan head. Aroma is a little nutty and caramelish with a very hoppy profil - slightly floral with notes of grass and citrus, especially grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet and heavy hoppy - resin, grass, grapefruit. medium body, oily texture, average carbonation and a very long bitter finish. A nice American-japanese take on the style.
