This brew bursts with hop character while still achieving a sublime balance due to a firm, robust malt backbone. It is a cross between an English-style and American-style India Pale Ale that is full-bodied and refreshing all at once.

Bottled from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. The pour is dark cloudy orange topped with a thick foamy white head. Quite alot of dark yeast leftovers at the bottom of the glass. The nose has a nice peppery hoppyness with a perfumic touch. Some cinamon and fruityness like peaches being over the top..maybe a faint touch of eggs. The taste is bitter but without the fruityness from the nose. There is alot of spices and a long flat bitterness that fades slowly. Quite refreshing without being a thirstkiller...but still the bitterness from the english hops is the dominating thing. Tickeling mouthfeel with quite a dry finish

Bottle. Golden - orange, cloudy, average and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light fruitiness, some piney and citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish fruity flavor, some citrus and piney hoppyness, faint caramel. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some piney hoppyness. OK lightly sweetish lightly hopped IPA – could use more hoppyness though.

Pours light copper, not much white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, spicy, bold japanese hop character like a bit of sorachi, some caramel malts. Taste is much the same, decent balance, interesting hop character.

Cloudy amber, small beige head. Neutral nose.Nicely balanced, sweet malt mid, medium strength, medium length hop finish. Decent enough but for the hefty price tag your money will be better spent elsewhere.

Bottle. Pours a very dark orange color with a frothy off white head. Aroma is quite hoppy for an English style IPA, with alot of orange, some citrus fruits, grapefruit and spicey notes. Flavor is more malty though, I get some of the sweeter citrus fruits like orange and tangerine, some caramel and sweet malt and some spicy hop notes. The body is medium with a subtle dryness and a smooth mouthfeel. Overall a pretty interesting IPA.

Taste is grape fruit and orange peel. Somes sweetness. Quite malty and fruity. Not in your face. A little weak but very fine.
