4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours amber clear with beige head.
Aroma was very intriguing. Got a lot of citrus/zesty aroma that was a lot nicer than the average beer. Some floral / sweet tea notes with an overall honey like sweetness.
Taste, very sweet, light fruits zesty/citrus remains very enjoyable.
Some light caramel also come forward with notes of fruits.
Has a very unique and original fruit aroam and taste that is hard to descriee as I am not familiar with the yuzu fruit.

355ml bottle from Archive. Zingy and zesty aroma from this bright amber beer that carries a soft white head. Fruity flavour with a musky perfume aftertaste and finish. Unusual.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Soft, warm full bodied, but lacking in flavour projection. A hint of sour yuzu, a hint of fruity sweetness and a hint of bitterness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
633ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger off-white head that settles to some thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity with citrus and mild caramel and floral and herbal notes. Taste is citrusy hop bitterness balanced nicely with a fruity and caramel malt sweetness with some spice possibly ginger. Medium bodied with some nice carbonation leaving a pleasing sensation on the palate. A nicely done fruit beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home, which I assume must have come from BrewDog Aberdeen. It pours golden orange/yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is sweet fruit - apple, white grape, yuzu?, sweet orange, honey and spice. The taste is pine, resin, light fruit - apple, yuzu, citrus pith, straw and spice, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty good stuff all round.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From bottle. Pours golden with white head. STRANGE! Herbal aroma, sausages! Tastes of basil, massive basil flavor, some thyme, bit lemon. Initial bitterness, followed by balanced citrus and herb taste. Too weird!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22/07/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (bottle). Degustazione al Baird Beer Festival. Ambrata, abbastanza limpida, lieve schiuma biancastra morbida, poco persistente. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Birra elegante, seducente, ben bilanciata. Da provare.
