COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a fiercely flavorful ale brewed exclusively with German malt (Pilsner and Munich) and German hops (Magnum, Tradition, Spalter, Tettnanger, Hersbrucker). It is bold in its malt makeup and unabashed in its hop character. It is a beer imbued with the strong and courageous spirit of the ancient Germanic people, the Teutons. Prost!

On tap at CBM Jimbocho August 2014. Really nice deep dried apricot orange color with a nice head. Nose is all fruit: apricot, pear and citrus. Nice biscuity malt quality present as well. More fruit on the palate along with some tastes of lemongrass and hay. Fairly well balanced but definitely fruit forward. Slightly dry finish, but refreshing.

Draught at Baird Nakameguro
Pour is dark orange with a white lace. The aroma is herbal and fruity. Taste is bready and has some fruity hop character. Not my favourite of the bunch but it was still fairly drinkable.

Tap at Nakameguro taproom. Aroma is floral and fruity. Very nice. Taste is good too, dry maltiness with fruity hoppy bitterness. Maybe best beer of the night. Suprising!

Bready, decent fruitiness, touch of pear, herbal hops, sharp dry bitter finish. Not their most impressive seasonal, quite dry on the palate.

Very fruity, bouncy ale. kind of fun but serious at the same time. orange, grass, orchard fruits and a fairly weighty body to back it up. A quencher, though a bit dangerous, hiding 6% pretty well.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2013 Draught at Bashamichi. Glowing orange with a low head. Soft noble hops, biscuit, orange, in the nice. Nicely fruity and grassy flavor, great malts. Soft, full body. Very drinkable and good.
