[on tap at Popeye’s]
Crisp, altbier-like toasty maltiness. Pale ale colour with no top. Tastes just like a good altbier. Medium to light body with moderate carbonation.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2007 Pours a nice caramel brown with a large light tan head. The aroma is hidding. Wood and some fruit, but really not much there. Medium body. Flavor is caramel, sweet malt, some smoke, and milk chocolate. Finishes with a bit more smokiness. Baird usually puts out really good beers but this one just doesn’t cut it. It’s not a bad beer but it’s just sorta there.
