COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our experience brewing with a wide variety of hops is this: single-hop beers are interesting and instructive but the best hop-character beers come through the judicious combining of different varieties. World Cascade Pale is a an equal part combination of Cascade hops grown in America, New Zealand and Germany. This pale ale is a calculated 40 IBUs deriving from six separate kettle additions. It is dry-hopped for 5 days with an even mixture of our three world Cascade varieties. Which Cascade character is most notable? Do you like Cascade hop character?

A well-crafted seasonal based on cascade hops from 3 different continents. Smooth ale with a lovely bouquet of grapefruit hops, actually more complex than expected. Baird-san is a notorious cascade artist and he uses it with great skills and passion.

Bottle from Good Beer. Deep orange color, a bit cloudy, with a tall, fine head. Fresh, lemony Cascade nose. Somewhat earthy and grass, a bit of rich malt. Dry lemon flavor is main, slightly grassy, biscuity malts, a touch of caramel, a bit peppery in the finish. Lightly bitter. Very drinkable.

Bottle, 07/01/2013. Pours dark golden amber, bit hazy, dense creamy white head resting on the surface, great retention, thin lacing. Aroma is tangerine caramel, peach, tropical sweetness, fresh earthy spruce, bit bready, nice whole hop vegetal character. Taste is grapefruit and peach, touch of caramel with rich soft pine character, moderate bitter finish. Medium body, creamy. Really quite nice.
