Hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, herbal and a bit earthy, with some yeasty notes and some bready malt. Flavor has some malty sweetness upfront, but very quickly turns bitter, hoppy, leafy and herbal with light citric notes and a bit of caramel in the background. Medium-bodied.

The beer in the glass is cloudy pale yellow. Smells musty-hoppy, subtly sweet. Starts hoppy-bitter and very grassy, slightly yeasty and sour in the background. The middle part is very tart, with a lot of bitter hops and a sourish yeast note. Goes into a hoppy, grassy, yeasty-sweet finish!

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready malts, mild vegetables as well as some grassy and floral hops. Flavour is rather sweet fruits, sweet malts as well as some floral and grassy notes towards the finish. Pleasantly balanced. Floral and wooden aftertaste.

Getreidig-herb in der Nase, erinnert an trockenes Stroh. Antrunk feinherb, liquide. Mitte herber und würzig. Würzig-herb auslaufend, etwas nachbitternd. Ok.

Unclear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass, green grass. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110522]

Bottle. Sweet barley malt and peppery hops aroma. Slightly hazy yellow with small head and light effervescence. Lightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter quinine flavor. Okay but a bit rough in the finish.

Different label than in the picture here. Slightly hazy yelllow color, small white head, some lace. Grainy, sweetish malty nose. Light to medium bodied. A bit grainy flavor with quite strong hayish hoppyness. Crisp, refreshing carbonation. Quite pils-like kellerbier. Quite good.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Yellow color with medium white head. Grainy aroma, with hints of citrus. Taste, light bitter, malt, bittersweet finish. Nothing special, but drinkable.

(bottle) pours a slightly hazy pale yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of citrus fruits and floral hops, with a touch of honey and wet haystacks, lovely. flavour is mostly the same, the citrus fruits are still quite prominent, with an increasing graininess and a bitter herbal-hoppy finish. light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

33cl bottle. Poured slightly hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Grainy malty and hint of lemon in aroma. Flavor: First very fruity and floral hops, then grainy malt and hay. Slightly bitter finish. Refreshing and decent kellerbier.
