From tap at Ranitzky, Tubingen. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild caramelish and toasted malty. Mild toasted and sweet caramelish. Bitter and toasted sweet finish.

Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is malt, grass and herbal notes. Flavour is malt, grass, pine and herbal notes.

Pours crystal clear, golden-yellow with little foam. It smells very malty tart, slightly spicy and hopy bitter. The beer starts very tart, with dominant malt body, very spicy in the background. The middle part is slightly sweet, paired with grassy hops, still very malty. Finish is sweet with a honey note, paired with tart grassy hops.

0.5 l bottle. Golden color. The aroma and flavor is sweetish with honeyish malt with hints of herbal hops. Simple yet pleasant helles.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grass, mild wood and floral notes. Flavour is sweet malts, bready malts as well as some quite bitter grassy and floral notes.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Clear light to medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, pale malt, vegetables notes, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malt sweet, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110628]

Herbhopfiger Geruch mit spürbarem Malzstich. Malziger Antrunk, der ins Süßliche tendiert. Mittig weiterhin süßlich mit würzigen Aromen. Malzbitterer Ausklang, etwas trocken. Sehr solides Spezial - geht in Ordnung.

Bottle. Sweet grainy malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow color with large white head and mild effervescence. Sweet corn/barley malt and moderately bitter quinine finish. I’m not a fan of the bitterness of this one.

Clear pale yellow color, firm small white head. Grainy, a bit buttery nose with hints of metal. Light to medium bodied. Slightly grainy, sweetish malty flavor with hayish hoppyness. Pretty standard German pale lager, perhaps closer to pils than helles. Clean and ok.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Golden color with medium white head. Grain, grass some flowers in aroma. Taste, light bitter, hops, malt. Light bitter finish. Not bad.
