COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bügelverschlußflasche (donated by Quack-Duck!): Papery-grassy nose, golden, a bit unclear, medium-sized loose white head; bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied to watery; tart bitter finish, some malt detectable, but a light acidity too. Not good at all......

Grima (1572) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2011
The beer in the glass is pale yellow with little foam. Aromas of sweet hops and grain. The beer starts very hoppy, slightly sweet, with grainy nuances. The finish is sweet and well balanced hoppy and grainy. Could be more bitter, all in all.

330 ml flip-top bottle in Germany from Marhun. Pours a clear yellow color with white head. Aroma is hops, hay and grass. Taste is earthy, with some sharpness to it. Has too much carbonation for a Helles. As others have said the palate is quite strange for a Helles. I don’t really know what to think of this beer. It is not terrible but just wierd.

Clear yellow color, decent white head. Nose has wood, minerals and apples. Light body. Light apple fruity flavor with light grassy hoppyness. Sweetish finish. Odd helles.

MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 8, 2011
(swing top bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sweet pale malty nose with a shy grainy touch and a tinge of grassy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Slightly grainy and subtle fruity malt-character with shy hoppy notes; sweet malty and slightly bitter finish. Rather profane. 08.IV.11
