(bottle) Cloudy, dark brown colour with a loose and slightly tanned frothy head. Slightly sweet and distinctively wheaty aroma with a shy toasty note and a touch of bubblegum and red berries. Moderately sweet and minimal sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Pretty slim malty and wheaty base with shy toasty notes, traces of berry fruity and a mild spicy touch; slim and slightly bitter tart finish. Quite one-dimensional Dunkelweizen. 27.I.10

Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, caramel, yeasty and banana. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish

The beer in the glass is dark brown, very cloudy, with a fine creamy head. It smells roasted malty and nutty, subtly yeasty. Starts malty and sour, slightly roasty, with very good yeast-aroma. The middle part is slightly yeasty sourish, with some roasted malts. Goes into a nutty finish, slightly sour and roasty, with a subtle aroma of roasted almonds.

Brown-yellow colored, little yellow head. Strong banana aroma with rich yeast as well, spices here as well. Medium bodied. Flavor is also strongly sweet with banana dominating, some grains and acid here too. Aftertaste is bit carbonated.

16.9 oz bottle: Aroma has a big banana, clove and yeast characteristic. Appearance is a cloudy orangish/brown with a thick white head that diminishes rather quickly. Taste is bready, banana, clove, yeast, and a light malt note, very subtle but in the backing. Palate is light to medium carbonation, with a yeasty aftertaste that doesn’t stick around for a while. Overall, Decent a nice Dunkelweisse. Cheers!

Im Geruch liegen bananige Aromen, Nelken. Dazu malzig-süße Töne. Süß-bananiger Start. Mitte voluminös bananig, hefig mit Gewürznelke. Malziger, etwas schokoladiger Abgang im bananigen Umfeld. Süß, bananiges HW, welches zu gefallen weiß.

Murky medium matt grey amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel notes, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, banana, caramel, fruit acidic notes. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110520]

Bottle. Very sweet banana, orange, clove and light toffee malt aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with large off white head and moderate effervescence. Slightly sweet banana, orange, clove and light toffee malt flavor. Medium body. Pretty good - would have liked more malt flavor though.

(bottle) pours a murky brown colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of wheat, caramel and bubblegum, with hints of roasted malt and burning embers. flavour is mostly the same, lots of bublegum, with hints of dill and popcorn. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy brown color with thick white head. Aroma wheat, caramel. Taste, caramel, wheat, hints of chocolate. Spices in finish. Drinkable beer.

Bottle: The aroma consists of bubblegum, banana, faint wheat, and a touch of toastiness. It pours a cloudy brownish-orange with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a soapy film around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with a light-moderate dose of banana. There is some roasted grain the background and the finish has light-moderate bubblegum with a hint of wheat and citrus tartness. Medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. I really like wheat beers and this is pretty solid.
