COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our most flavorful ale. We use pale English malts during the brewing process. This rich, flavor intensive ale is not for the weak beer drinker. But if you like to challenge your palette, this hop extravaganza will satisfy.

Sampled at the brewpub. My favored of the 8 sampled there. It was quite cloudy with a red hue and a small off white ring. A truly distinct appearance. Aroma is full of hop. This could be a double IPA it is so full of hop. There is a boat load of hop in here but it is offset nicely by some sweet malt. Still, this is indeed a "hop extravaganza." Grapefruit. Smooth and oily. Beer geeks and hop heads will love this one. Interestingly, I found out this was a mistake beer. The yeast did not settle as hoped giving it the unfiltered and cloudy appearance. That also gave it some distinction that piqued my interest.

From tap at the San Lucas and San Jose brewpub location. Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is grapefruity and pinewood. Solid bitterness. Dense hops fruity and lingering dark caramelish. Bitter and roasted into the finish. Light bite in the far finish.

Pours hazy orange, white head. Aroma has nice notes of grass, resin, and some pine with a touch of caramel. Nice bitter pine and resin, slight sweetness and a nice bitter at the end with residual resin and pine notes. Very nice and tasty IPA!

On tap, Baja Brewing. Definitely Baja Brewing’s best beer. Nicely hoppy and balanced. Not really any head, but not watery like most of their other beers. Not bad at all
