Draught at Prague Beer Museum. Clear golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Malty toffee aroma, honey, caramel, fruity from grapes and peach, apricot notes, some grass. Honey flavor, biscuits, caramel, bready, very much a malty beer and the honey is not overwhelming. Somewhat bitter finish with spices and honey.

Tap at Starosloviensky pivovar, Bratislava. Dark golden color with huge white head. Malty aroma together with honey, toasted bread. Taste, sweet malt, caramel, honey, bitter hops. Bittersweet finish.

Bottle. Aroma of malt and brown sugar. Clear brown colour with beige head. Plenty of malt in flavour but not breadlike.

bottle from Zly Casy. Clear brown colour, large off-white head. Sweet malty nose. Full-bodied, lovely malty base with a touch of honey and some good aromatic hops in the finish. Not too sweet, the typical Bohemian character is well retained here.

Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity, mazipan malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Sweet malty nose with some honey coming through. Fairly solid body, a little low in carbonation, hints of cardboard and again a little honey. 310312

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted and light cornish to grassy. Bitter, medium sweet and light caramelish. Toasted malty finish.
