Classic Czech style pilsner, brewed using the finest Zatec (Saaz) hops, specially selected malt and pristine water from the brewery’s own well.

Crystal clear, golden color, lively and by naked eye high carbonation. Dont like the green bottle idea at all, hope beer is not light struck. Aroma of saaz hops dominating over malt body. Foam very thick and stable. Palate medium heavy, contrasting with hoppy aroma - quite thick. Carbonation no surprise - skyrocket high. Taste is clean and balanced, sweetish malty with grassy hops finish. Light metallic taste in finish which influence my rating negatively. Because overall this is very drinkable and neutral beer. Ideal for summer refreshment but nothing really appealing in there. Average commercial Czech Lager :)

Typical Czech Lager, aroma of grain, pours a clear golden color with a lasting white head. Taste of grain and yeast. Medium body with a mildly bitter finish.

(Bottle 0.5l) Clear golden colour. Small, fast falling, white head. Soft body, high carbonation, watery texture. Aroma: Pale malts, grain, corn, soft herbal hops, moderate strong diacetyl. Taste: Pale malts, a bit graint, soft bready. Mild herbal bitterness. Avarage pils, nothing special.

It is a moderate foaming lager with soft comfortable carbonation. Smell, taste and filling is finely balanced with pale malt and bitter hops and it is a lager which is very tasty and rich. Definitely a lager that belongs in the top range of Czech beers.

Dec ’14. A 0.5 l bottle Marko brought from Prague, thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with a small head. All malt aroma, my least favorite - eggy/honey and grainy. Flavor was still sweet, but some herbal hops emerged from sugary and honey malt making it balanced and actually not that bad. Medium bodied with peppery and herbal finish. Rather uninteresting for a 12° Czech beer, but fine for a macro pale lager.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a decent white frothy head. Mild maltyaroma, grainy. Taste starts with a bit of sweetness, bittery with herbal notes. A typical Czech pilsner. Easily drinkable.

Brought from Prague, shared with heavy and Jablanko. Poured a full golden body with a thick white head that went away relatively fast. Grainy, honeyish aroma, malt-dominated. Bitter herbl hops on top of some vague maltiness... Bitterish/salty. Dunno, it’s OK enough, and yet nothing special.
