COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark lager has caramel sweetish taste; here you can find slight scent of burnt malt. Its taste is full and the foam dense. This brand is immediately intended for refreshing the humankind’s neater half.

500ml bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, light beige head. Aroma of caramel and lightly toasted malts plus light hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. An alright beer.

Aroma ripe dusty malty feel. Sweet malts. Sadly bit one sided. 6-
Appearance brownish-black with premium sized top. Fine creamy beige head.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied, Sugary, husky , grainy with think body. Chalky feel completes notes on this not very good dunkel rendering.

10/9/10/9/7/9

Half-liter bottle, $1.50 clearance at Binny’s. Immediately a better start that the lite beer from this brewer I had yesterday. No skunk under the cap. Instead, some straight-up dark roast malt nose, though with a little too much cereal. Taste shows some cereal grain, too, but it starts to remind me of the European take on dark lagers, the ones just thick enough to be called dunkels like this here. Certainly quite hearty for a standard strength beer. For fun I used a Trumer "bullet" pils glass, and got a big glass full of dark foam. Sticky dark beer with occasional notes of sour and plum. Definitely give this one a try.

I drank this from the bottle into my Rochefort glass...The beer pours a dark honey gold with lasting white head, good lacing...The aroma is light, but gives off a nice balance on yeast, hops, just pleasant...The taste is decent, a little yeast, but a lot of skunk, very similar to pilsner, not so much of a lager...The feel is ok, but light. Easy to drink except for the skunk finish.

500mL. Pours a clear, deep amber brown (darker than their doppelbock) with a thick, massive, rocky, tan head with a sheen top and huge retention. No lace. Aroma is milk chocolate, florals, gas station coffee, lemon ice tea. Lemon becomes the dominant nose. Taste is soapy, dry, light coffee. Extreme soapiness is off for the style and dominates the body. Slight sugar gives body but blind tasting this I could not tell you dunkel or bock but would assume it was still pale lager. I rated it a 2.4. But as it warms- I mean pretty hot- it exhibits true German Vienna malts, rich maltiness, and even some smokiness in the nose. Wow, what a massive improvement. So definitely DRINK WARM!
