On draught at the Pivovarsky Klub in Prague:Dark amber coloured with reddish spots, bigger fluffy sandy head, slowly diminishing, shy caramelly-fruity nose with even shier traces of roasted malt and an small amount of hops, moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, short, a bit sugary and caramelly, sweet-bitter finish. O.K., quite well crafted.........

This beer was a suprce, got it in a bottle. Loved the color nice dark one and the licorice smell that came. and the licorice taste is great.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty and caramel. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Watery. Too sweet for my liking. 180112

500ml bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, light beige head. Aroma of caramel and lightly toasted malts plus light hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. An alright beer.

Aroma ripe dusty malty feel. Sweet malts. Sadly bit one sided. 6-
Appearance brownish-black with premium sized top. Fine creamy beige head.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied, Sugary, husky , grainy with think body. Chalky feel completes notes on this not very good dunkel rendering.

Der Malzantrunk ist deutlich röstig und gleichzeitig süß. Trocken, dann röstiger, mittelintensiv und wenig süffig. Dazu in Teilen schokoladig, mit der Zeit intensiver, dadurch vollmundiger und besser. Die Süße ist zum Ende passend, sie wurde durch eine seichte Herbe dezimiert. Stimmiger Abgang mit deutlicheren Schokoladen- und Röstnoten. 10/9/10/9/7/9

Bottle. Lightly smokey chocolate malt aroma. Dark brown color with small head. Sweet-smokey light chocolate-caramel malt flavor. Medium body. Finishes a bit watery. Overall a nice easy drinking beer.

Bottle. Pours brown with thin fast dissipating white head. Aroma is old grass. Sweet malty flavour with a bit of toast. Malty finish.

Half-liter bottle, $1.50 clearance at Binny’s. Immediately a better start that the lite beer from this brewer I had yesterday. No skunk under the cap. Instead,some straight-up dark roast malt nose, though with a little too much cereal. Taste shows some cereal grain, too, but it starts to remind me of the European take on dark lagers, the ones just thick enough to be called dunkels like this here. Certainly quite hearty for a standard strength beer. For fun I used a Trumer "bullet" pils glass, and got a big glass full of dark foam. Sticky dark beer with occasional notes of sour and plum. Definitely give this one a try.
