Bottle. Pours clear golden with lasting white head. Aroma is malt, lots of grassy hops, hint of banana and mango. Flavor is sharply bitter, with malt, hops, bananas and spices. Good, but I was expecting more considering the asking price.

Bottle from local Tesco. dark golden color with medium white head. Fruity, malty aroma with bitter hops. Taste, malt, caramel, honey. Light hoppy bitterness in finish. Not bad, but not so hoppy as it could be through dry-hopping.

Typical Pilsner color, one finger white head. Aroma of malts, and actually you can smell the Saaz hops. Taste is light sweet, with nice bitterness to it, not bad. Light body thin to slick texture, soft to average carbonation.

Bottle bought at Tesco. Surprinsigly good for a bottled beer. Malty aroma followed by a malty taste with some caramel or honey flavors. A quickly matl to biterness turning taste. Bitter finish. Very refreshing. But too much carbonation. Overall tasty in its category.

Bottle. Clear Golden with a white head. I was exited when I saw it because the idea of dry-hopping a fresh saazy svetle to boost the hop flavour sounds great to me. The reality was somewhat underwhelming. It had a good floral and grassy character but it wasn’t a dramatic hoppiness. A solid Svetle but not the beer I’d hoped it would be.

(Draught at Prvni Pivni Tramway, Prague, 20 July 2013) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with toast, rye bread and fresh grass. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of toast, orange, apricots and a fresh grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Quite enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle(@Pivovarský klub, Praha): Very deep golden with a small and persistent white head, moderate spicy Saazy nose; solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and quite soft; dryish lingering Saazy-malty finish. Good, no doubt, but still a bit disappointing, because I expected more from a dry-hopped (za studena chmelený) -with the divine Saaz hops - Bohemian beer…
