COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Plato 31
Ingredients: pure Lurisia water, Italian barley malt, buckwheat from Valli Monregalesi, yeast, hop, Lapsang Suchong tea.

Mortlach (1022) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 25, 2013
22/06/2013 330ml bottle (best before December 2013), shared @ Ma che siete venuti a fà. In bocca è dolcissima, frutta matura, sherry, tabacco. Corpo pieno, oleosa, piatta.

Bottle, Theydon Bois Roma Pre-Nuptuals Tasting at Ma Che, 22/06/13. Thanks to Luca - Mortlach. Lightly hazed mahogony brown with no head. Nose is sugars, light smoke, Frazzles, malt, dark fruits, booze, toffee. Taste comprises dark toffee, sweet sugars, dates, dark fruits, demerara sugars, sweet sweet. Full bodied, no carbonation, booze in the finish. Ok suppable barley wine but a few notches away from a great. Overly sweet for my liking, the alcohol was pitched ok though.

03- MAY-2013, bottle @appartment in Rome. Present from Mortlach. Thx Luca:-) All flat but beautifull amber and clear. Arroma is very malty fruity with a whif of smoke. Taste the same with smoked salami. Very sweet, no carbonation. Sticky full body. I like my beer with a little carbonation. Otherwise very fine barley wine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle shared by Travlr. Brown-amber. No head. Not much carbonation. Awesome. Completely unique, lots of sugary dark fruit. Never overwhelming on the palate despite the big ABV. Smoky schnaps alcohol laced aroma. Some tropical fruit. Subtle. A whole new creature of a beer.

Not bad italian barley wine, a sort of vinho do Porto brewed with malt of barley. Nice
