Draft at the Birch, as "Al Iskir" ... Red more than golden, with a nice sudsy, pillowy head. The aroma is reminiscent of cream. This drinks with a nice little alcohol burn, but not too much. Caramel, sugar, and maybe a little bit of raisin here, too? Delish. (#4462, 2/4/2012)

Bouteille de 750 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Odeur de mélasse fruitée avec une pointe d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée voilée avec une forte densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de mélasse fruitée légèrement amer avec une pointe d’épices et d’alcool. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement vineuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût fruité. (Rating #4094)

Schiuma compatta e poco persistente colorito bruno con riflessi ambrati.Al naso apre con note citriche che sfumano nel tostato e caramellato con leggeri sentori speziati. Poco carbonata al palato, apre con note di torrone, frutta matura e caramello; chiude con il dolce prepotente del malto. Nel complesso una birra molto articolata e ricca di sfaccettature anche se forse un pò sbilanciata sul dolce

large rocky frothy offwhite head. gl. md. translucent thick dark orangeish-amber body. aroma: heavy malty, milk chocolate, moderate hoppy, wood, alcohol. if: heavy sweet light bitter. ff: heavy sweet moderate bitter; long duration. palate: medium body, watery texture, medium carbonation, metallic moderate alcoholic finish. delicioso dulçor alcoólico, maltado e achocolatado e com presença de frutas secas, como uva-passa, que seria enjoativo caso o amargor gredoso não o balanceasse de forma eficaz, forte aquecimento alcoólico, semelhante ao de um destilado, mas não tão agressivo quanto, baixa drinkability, mas muito saborosa, aroma bolo de chocolate, após meio caminho andado, mais de 40 minutos com a cerveja aberta, aparece alguma presença frutada no paladar, lembrando tangerina, mas difícil identificar com precisão, gosto de mel, o álcool diminui consideravelmente a medida que a temperatura aumenta, opostamente ao esperado por mim, 120 s

75cl bottle. Pours a rich copper colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma is sweet with molasses and dark fruits. Some belgian yeast quality too. Taste is some alcohol, big sweetness, fruitiness and candy sugar. Medium body with good carbonation. Quite complex brew but maybe too sweet. Quite enjoyable though.

Bottle @mondial de la biere, an amber beer with huge fruit nose. Aroma is also very fruity, dry fruits, sweet, caramel body, bit syrupy, alcohol is well hidden too.

Sampled from bottle at Italian Beer Tasting @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Smells too much like an amber beer and a little too much alcohol in the aroma as well. Pretty sweet taste.
